California congressman Eric Swalwell pursuded popular icon Taylor Swift agreed for the first time ever to let one of her songs be used in a political video. She wrote it following the 2018 midterms.

The video includes scenes from #metoo #marchforourlives #BLM #ACB

As Swift’s song plays, footage of civil unrest and protests is rather pointedly juxtaposed with smiling pictures of Trump-administration officials. Smug headshots of Trump, Mitch McConnell, and Lindsey Graham play over the lyric “And the big bad man and his big bad clan / Their hands are stained with red.”

Here is the script:

Kamala HarrisWhy are so many powerful people trying to make it so difficult for us to vote?

It keeps me awake
The look on your face
The moment you heard the news
You’re screaming inside
And frozen in time
You did all that you could do
