Make Lyric Show Panel 3 working for Foobar2000

foobar2000 is a freeware audio player for Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android developed by Peter Pawłowski, who is also the auther of the famous music player softerware winamp.

The latest foobar2000 version is 1.6.6, with full support for all kinds music format and also supports wasapi and asio driver. foobar 2000 is famous for its audio quality and simplified user interface.

I’ve been used minilyrics for foobar and winamp for years. but the website has been down for a while. It is time to find alternative way to display lyrics when playing .

foobar2000 has its lyrics component named Lyric Show Panel 3. But the search links are all broken, therefore, no lyrics can be found. veksho in reddit wrote another component named foo_multisource, which can provide much more source for lyrics search, including genius, musixmatch, minilyrics, qq, darklyrics, azlyrics, songlyrics, lololyrics

Usage:

1. install foobar2000
2. install “Lyric Show Panel 3” component into foobar2000
3. install my plugins into foobar2000
4. configure “Lyric Show Panel 3”: move some of the new available sources to “search order” list.

5. show Lyric Show Panel window or add it as panel to foobar user interface.

6. play music.
